The best on the market! - by from Madison Wisconsin

This is the best boot Ive ever owned. From long backpacking trips with heavy loads to peak-bagging in a day, these do not disappoint. They are stiff out of the box, but break in quickly. I would recommend these to anyone.

Hands Down the best - by from madison Wi

I have owned these boots for 9 years and they are still going strong. Have used them from the smokies to the rockies and many small trails around WI. If you keep the leather in good shape they will last you a lifetime worth the price!!!

Ill-suited for long feet - by from Madison WI

Contrary to my expectations, these actually became less comfortable as I broke them in. For my size 13 feet, creases developed across the forefoot, and the stiffness of the rest of the leather means my feet are pinched down with every step. By the time I realized that the problem was only getting worse, Id taken the boots on a few painful shakedown hikes, making them un-returnable. Ive had them for about two years now, and despite extensive efforts to break them in further, theyve only gotten worse. Sure, theyre pretty, but theyve turned out to be nothing more than expensive shelf ornaments.
