4th Annual Wisconsin Fall Colors Run

Wisconsin Fall Colors Run

Who else loves the fall in Wisconsin? We think it's one of the most beautiful times of the year. Join us for a 2, 4 or 8 Mile Run/Walk on the Ice Age Trail on the Gibraltar Segment in Lodi. Enjoy the fall colors seen along the bluffs on this run! $10 from each registration will go directly to the Ice Age Trail Alliance.

Enjoy the natural beauty of Wisconsin Fall Colors on the scenic Ice Age Trail!

No, we will not be throwing any color powder on you...this is just a good old fashioned trail run on a beautiful (but challenging) segment of the Ice Age Trail. You will enjoy amazing views of Lake Wisconsin and Devils Lake from the top of the bluffs and finish in the valley right next to the Merrimac Ferry Landing.

Three distances available so no matter your age or ability we've got an event for you: 2 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk (not timed), 4 Mile Run/Walk, or 8 Mile Run.

Your registration includes a $10 donation to the Ice Age Trail Alliance, a T-shirt for the first 100 registrants, race bib, drawstring race bag, professional RFID timing, sports drink and energy gel at the aid station, 1 hot cider in a Fontana Sports mug and trail snacks (fruit, energy bars, etc.). Prizes will be awarded to the top overall Male and Female of the 4 mile & 8 mile runs. Age group winners will also be recognized (10 year age brackets) for men and women in both distances. We will also hold some prize drawings that all participants are eligible to win after awards are announced!

  • Why is Fontana Sports putting on this event? We wanted to work to raise money for non-profit organizations we believe in while helping our community to get active outdoors. Fontana Sports, which is a locally owned business, has always had a close relationship with the IATA as we find the organization incredibly important for encouraging people to get outside and appreciate the outdoors; as well as the work they do to protect and support Wisconsin lands. The Hutchinson’s, who own Fontana Sports, have had so many great adventures, day hikes and winter explorations on the IAT. We hope you’ll join us!
  • Who can I contact with questions about the event? Elizabeth -
