ICE AGE NATIONAL SCENIC TRAIL ATLAS
ICE AGE NATIONAL SCENIC TRAIL ATLAS
DETAILS:
The Ice Age National Scenic Trail Atlas features 112 color, shaded relief–style maps at 1:48,000 scale. In contrast to the smaller map excerpts in the Ice Age National Scenic Trail Guidebook, each map is printed on an 8.5” x 11” sheet and includes not just the Ice Age Trail route but also suggested connecting routes and a wider snapshot of the area around the Trail. The maps are three-hole punched to easily insert into a binder.
Helpful icons identify parking areas, drinking water sources, restrooms, and camping facilities. Different patterns of shading indicate topography, public lands, and areas open to primitive camping. The last item is essential for those planning a backpacking trip. The maps also include Trail and connector mileages for tallying mileage easily.
Whether you are just starting to explore the Ice Age Trail or are well on your way to becoming a Thousand-Miler, the maps found in this Atlas provide the critical wayfinding information you’ll need to enjoy all the Trail has to offer.
